Summary: This HCG Ceviche Recipe can be made with either shrimp or a meaty white fish such as halibut or pike.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams chilled cooked white fish or shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tomato seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic crushed and minced
  • Fresh chopped cilantro
  • Dash hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Steam the shrimp or fish.
  2. Add lemon, onion, garlic and chopped cilantro. Stir in diced tomatoes and hot sauce.
  3. Chill and marinate the ingredients in the refrigerator for 1-3 hours.

Quick notes

This is one of those easy hcg diet recipes that we just love to ‘cook’. What’s cool is that it’s a recipe you don’t cook at all! The acid within the lemon or lime actually cooks the fish or shrimp for you. The preparation of this dish is super quick, and all you have to do is wait to eat.

Variations

We highly recommend adding a some diced jalapeno to the ceviche before refrigerating. That is, if you enjoy the spice!

Another idea is to slice up a radish to have on the side. A radish really adds a layer of ‘cleanliness’ to your palate when enjoying a ceviche.

If your are on Phase 3 of the HCG diet plan, go ahead and slice up a ripe avocado to have atop the final product.
