Summary: This HCG Garlic Chicken recipe is satisfying and includes additional heart health from the roasted garlic cloves.


  • 100g chicken
  • onion pieces (eat as veggie or remove after dish is cooked)
  • 3-5 cloves garlic – unpeeled & left whole
  • juice of half lemon
  • black pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Heat non-stick saucepan over MED.
  3. Add the onion.
  4. Stir constantly until tender. 5-10 mins.
  5. Transfer onions to glass baking dish.
  6. Place chicken atop onions.
  7. Squeeze on lemon juice & sprinkle with pepper.
  8. Place garlic around and on the chicken.
  9. Cover tightly either with lid or aluminum foil.
  10. Cook for 30-45 mins or until chicken is no longer pink.

Quick notes

This is a great “staple” hcg diet chicken recipe. You can either eliminate the onions or eat them as a count toward one of the daily vegetables.

Remember to choose organic chicken that hasn’t been injected with additional solutions or sodium
