Add broccoli, rosemary sprig with seasoning to taste. Boil broccoli for 3-5 minutes. Serve Steak with Broccoli on the Side.

Recipe Tips and Tricks

There are a few tricks to bringing out the flavor in the broccoli. After the steak is removed, make sure to deglaze the skillet with the beef broth and scrape up all brown bits into the broth. You can save the broth in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after usage for use in other hcg diet recipes such as a soup, or to boil beans.

Tip: You can use these cuts of beef as they are considered “extra lean” by the USDA. Extra lean cuts of beef have only 5 grams of fat per 100 gram serving along with 2 grams of Saturated Fat and 95 mg Cholesterol. Lean cuts of beef have nearly double each of those figures.

“Extra Lean” Cuts of Beef Suitable for HCG Diet:

  • Eye of Round Roast
  • Sirloin Tip Side Steak
  • Top Round Roast
  • Bottom Roast
  • Top Sirloin
